Henry Thompson

Auburn University, USA

Henry Thompson received his PhD at the University of Houston in 1981, and is currently a professor of economics at Auburn University. He has published 42 articles, mostly on international trade. His textbook International Economics: A Microeconomic Approach (Longman, 1993) has been adopted around the world. He has presented 45 papers or seminars, taught 17 different economics courses, chaired 6 PhD committees, and has done research associated with NASA, Exxon, various power companies, and the National Energy Lab of Greece. He was on the Founding Board of the International Economics and Finance Society, and is currently Treasurer and editor of its email Newsletter.
